Ready to challenge yourself with one of Costa Rica’s most thrilling dive sites? Join us for a full-day expedition to the legendary Bat Islands (Islas Murciélagos) – home to the impressive Bull Sharks at Big Scare!

This exclusive trip is available by request only, with a departure at 6:00 AM and return around 3:00 PM. We include snacks, fresh fruits, cake, sandwiches, empanadas or pizza, and drinks on board – including cold beer and Coca-Cola for the return journey.

What to Expect:

• 2 dives at Big Scare, where Bull Sharks are often seen up close and personal (no feeding involved).

• A midday break between the iconic islands.

• A 3rd dive at Black Rock, famous for abundant marine life: schools of jacks, snappers, barracudas, rays, and often white-tip reef sharks.

Minimum Requirements:

• Advanced Open Water certification or Deep Diver 40m.

• Or at least 20 logged dives + the option to complete your Deep Diver certification during the trip.

• Must be in good physical condition and not prone to seasickness – Bat Island is known for strong currents and long navigation.

Important:

• Dive insurance is mandatory.

• This trip is not for beginners – strong experience is highly recommended.
